I have been trying to maximize my memtest bandwidth w/ settings.
For example:
2-2-2-6 gives me 1832 Mb/sec at 9x250 in memtest
2-2-2-10 " " 1723 .........
I need opinions as to How does this translate into 'real' windows performance?
Is this a 'real' value or should I ignore this and if so, what is a simple test to decide what settings I should be shooting for given the stuff in the 'sig.
Been :brick: :brick: :brick: :brick: for awhile chasing this - want to know if I am chasing a white elephant or a :am: :eleph:
Also I am stuck at about 245-250 FSB @ reasonable vdimm (3.2V) w/ the bh5
the eb3700 has a slow stick of 240 max(3-2-2-6), while the TCCD can get me up to 270+ maybe at 2.5-3-3-8. Any ideas as to what I should pursue?
I am going for max general performance, not games or benching (I would pull out the mach1 if I was leaning in that direction).
Answers and conjectures please and thank you mikeE
