Asus X800Pro -> XT?

Hi, I currently own the asus x800 pro.

I know to check the gpu to see if its possible, but is there anyone who has connected the bridges who could help me?

I tried connecting the bridges to get the 16 pipelines, I tested it and there was definate contact between the points but still no 16 pipes. Is you Asus card a VIVO model because if thats the case all you have to do is flash to get the 16 pipes, but make sure your card can achieve the higher clock rates first.

All ASUS X800PRO picture I see on the net is ViVO version...so I assuming all X800PRO version is ViVO version...I could be wrong though...
You don't have to open the HSF to see its an XT or not...because PRO version is almost the same as XT version but PRO comes with crippled pipelines then the XT.

you could check it whether its a ViVo version or not by seeing on the back of your card whether it has some kind of yellow connector or not...or you could check at the back of the board whether it has ATI rage theatre chip or not...if it is the your card is ViVO....just flashed it with ATI X800XT BIOS...ASUS ViVO version has very high percentage to be succesfully modded to XT..

if its not a ViVO version connecting bridges is the only method I know to changed it to XT
