OK, so with ATi and nvidia both having dual graphics solutions on the way, and with the high end cards having 256mb of GMEM, would pairing the two cards in this dual setup then give me the 512mb card that is not available today?
seems like the answer would be yes, but is only the video signal split in these setups? or is the entire graphics processing tree divided into 2 and split evenly amongst the card?
the SLi details are slim and the ATi details are next to nothing, I only know about the ATi since I spoke with pc power and cooling techs and they were telling me about the 800W PSU that is being tested for these dual graphics card systems.
