we can just let all the members decide who should be the team leader and have the control over the team :)

From the talk that I have seen about this topic I don't see some of the XR F@H members switching over to a "new" team. I understand there points too. It's a team that has been around for the longest time. It was the original XS team before the split. So talk of creating a new team to re-unite is a little Xtreme... IMO...

This isn't to say that I don't want the teams together!!!!!!!!! If we do F@H I would prefer to have us all together... I'm just not sure of the logistics! But it will all start to work with dialog like this! Thanks saaya! If this happens you will get big props for being in the forefront of it! :toast:

XF has a FAH team. I have one rig crunching for it right now. (The DF service setup is screwed up, so I run FAH instead).

I think if XS wants to do FAH we should join 3365 "Xtreme". Upon some reflection, I don't think JBELL will change the team name and who really cares who the leader is? Look at the XS DF forum for instance, 2fast is the leader of the team, but he isn't the only one who encourages the team and helps users. It is a team effort. I think JBELL is working on setting up a website for the Xtreme Folding Team as I believe he registered XtremeFolding.info (or something similar) so that is a step forward IMO.

The Xtreme DF model has worked great and we should build on that. Both XS and XR DF forums are active and have plenty of users to help out anyone who has questions. Lots of DF members post at both forums too, so I don't see having two forums as a real issue.

Once DF ends, I could see FAH easily doubling, maybe even trippling its production...that is assuming we all work together.

If people wanted, they could register their names as a subteam (like oc-uk for Xtreme). For example, your nickname would be "[XS] Rodzilla". Just a thought if people wanted to hold onto their XS identity.

agree 100% with you saaya.... new team is just the worst idea ever... we didn't get this far with uniting under TOO XTREME for DF just to split again and go create a new team, just XS... very bad idea... i will be with #3365 and don't give a .... that JBELL is no longer friends with some people from XS... enough said :)

Let's just do it! Look at the folding power we have rallied just today alone. We are on a roll and we need to build on it. With the folding power of a unified team we would be a major player in the folding community, and BOTH sites will bennifit from the exposer.

a whois shows that is my site .. I did it before realizing jeff had xtremefolding.com andi dont want to seem like i was trying to take anything from him but my intent is good and i hope ot have a folding site up for the team soon.

What if team 3365 could be locked down pending the out come of any legal action? That is the team name couldnt be changed or the url on Stanford, until a legal decision had been made. Everyone would have confidence that their points would continue to go to team xtreme.

If xtremeresources won in court the account could be unlocked, if not it would remain locked as team xtreme. Wouldnt this address everyones concerns? Wouldnt this allow everyone to continue in the spirit of the df amalgamation?

Now this would need Jbell's consent and stanfords, and I'm not promising Stanford would want to get involved, but it could be the final piece in the puzzle.
