Gonna Buy a 6800ultra

Hey all,

Ok, i have decided to get a 6800u...and was looking at the Albatron 6800 ultra or the Sparkle 6800u Platinum

anybody have an opinion on those particular cards or albatron/sparkle in general....i have never had an albatron/sparkle anything...

Both cards are about the same price, $20 difference....for another brand like MSI, it would be another $50+ more for it....

please note, i cannot get BFG, eVga, PNY, Gainward, Chaintek......

Im pretty sure all that i can get is, ASUS, Gigabyte, Albatron, Sparkle, Leadtek, Sapphire(not that they apply here), Triplex, GeCube, MSI, Legend, Powercolor and OEM...

and i am not willing to order online.....

to answer ur question, i'd take the Albatron 6800u.

But why can't you order online?

and many will say buy a 6800GT ...more bang for ur buck :D

ok,

1. i don't have a credit card, so that complicates things...
2. i live in Perth, Western Australia, which is the most isolated City in the world, so it would be killer shipping
3. i quite frankley don't trust it yet :p

yeah, i am leaning towards the albatron aswell, its cheaper then the sparkle, and seems to be more trusted....

this si the first time i've been able to afford to get the 'best of the best' so to speak, so im not going to skimp!

Make sure your power supply is up to snuff...these Ultras inhale power like there's no tomorrow.

A large power supply isn't optional with these cards...it's mandatory.

that should be plenty, =) im on a 520w and i run tonnes of stuff off mine.
