x800 vdd and vddq mod help

Hope someone can help me out here....

With only vdd mod I could do 635 mem. Then I read som about the vddq mod, so tried it out.
After the vddq mod I can do 630 stable but it artifacts more above that than before the vddq mod.

Did both mods with 20k vr's at the moment set at max both of them which gives me
vdd 2.19v
vddq 2.19v

before vddq
EDIT: vdd 2.11v
vddq 2.11v

Rivertuner says amb temp. 17dg. and the mems are "cold" when toughing them.

try raising vddq?

Maybe at its max without extreme cooling. 635 with normal cooling is quite good and probably near its max, especially if its completely clean.

635Mhz is with prommy@r404a so dont know if its good. Am just seeing so many doing 650-690Mhz.....know that the 660-690 is cascade, but should 650Mhz not be unrealistic for rommy@r404a?

Anyone know how much vddq need when for instance vdd = 2.00 / vddq = 2.05 etc. or something like that?

EDIT: anyone with TEC, prommy or cascades who could post their temp. for the card measured with rivatuner? (dont need to be precise hehe :) )

Well I did the Vddq mod last night and went from 630 MHz (Vdd mod only) to 651 MHz benchable in 03. Thats at Vdd=2.20, Vddq=2.25. Going higher didnt help any.

The GPU is cooled with a MCW50-T@12V and it was running about 11 deg C when I did those tests. The mem chips were just warm ... guessing @ 35 - 40 deg C using my calibrated finger thermometer :p:

Try raising the Vddq by 0.05V.

For comparison my stock Sapphire x800xt-pe goes to 615 mhz with slight artifacting
VDD=2.009v
VDDQ=2.103v
Ambient= 25c

Modded GPU is at 1.68v

Can you go higher if you do the vddq mod?

Can anyone explane what that does?

Edit: vdd is 2.02v and vddq is 2.11v, both stock.
Think Im gona do both vdd and vddq mods, its already with vgpu
