System Specs:
Tyan Thunder K7 (S2462)
Dual AMD MP 1900+'s
512mb Samsung Registerred ECC DDR PC2100
PNY Quadro 4 700 XGL 64mb
And then my 3d Mark score. (http://vyyper.home.mchsi.com/3dmark.htm)
It's nothing compared to most scores, but then again, I didn't build this machine for gaming.
Oh, and btw.. 3dMark reading this board as 100MHz FSB is normal even though it is a 133/266 FSB.
"Neat" is all I can think of, lol :)
How much does that video card cost?

$500. Worth every penny once you get it in to Maya. :)
wowie...that's 1 salty card :D

Hmm.... why does it say your FSB is 100MHz? Ah well. So the Quadro's actually perform much worse for gaming. Interesting.
He has a $500 card, but he actually does work with it , unlike most of us :).

I have a Tyan Tiger MPX S2466N-4M and 3DMark shows my FSB as 100, where everything else shows my FSB as 133. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Yeah, like I said in my frist post, it's a known issue with this motherboard... in fact... with most Dual AMD motherboards if I'm not mistaken. Oh well.. I am happy with it. The few times I take a break from modeling, I'm glad to know I can at least play most games. :)

Vyyper, if you haven't done so already, you should look into setting up WPCREDIT/SET and tweak that MPX chipset a bit. I was able to tweak my timings a bit more than the Tyan BIOS would ever allow, and was able to squeeze a fair bit more performance out of the system.

I doubt that quadros cant publish scores :)
bench again and try publishing
if you still cant publish I bet it´s got something to do with 3dmark not detecting correctly the fsb

Actually, every single person I know with a Quadro 4 can't publish their results. :(

Heh that's awesome :) I've never seen that before. Is there really that big of a diff. between a quadro and a 4600 though... hell I bet a 9700 does better in many things than the quadro (in work benchmarks)... I dunno--doesn't seem like it's worth it.

Actually, a Quadro 4 700+ XGL will obliterate a 9700 in work benchmarks. I was looking at a 9700 until I found that it performs horribly in modeling programs.
Download SPEC Viewperf from http://www.specbench.org/ and run it and see how it does. A Geforce 4 will even kill a 9700 in this test just because they aren't set up for workstation apps at all. It's kind of sad.. but oh well. That's why there are gaming cards and workstation cards seperately. :)

obviously a driver issue :)

If it's a driver issue it's a MASSIVE one, because the 9700's just REALLY suck when it comes to Maya/Max/Lightwave/etc.
