hi fellow modders,
well, i'm just looking for simple solution to probably very simple problem... here's what i work with:
http://www.speakeasy.net/~michasmisiek/xtreme/fancontrol_front.jpg
http://www.speakeasy.net/~michasmisiek/xtreme/fancontrol_back.jpg
http://www.speakeasy.net/~michasmisiek/xtreme/fancontrol_pot.jpg
this is great fan controller. it has three channels each capable of controling 2 fans up to 20W.
but the only problem is that it will only go down to 7.5V :(
at 5V my two Tornados are really quiet and that's where i would like to stay for most of the day.
how to make this controller be able to trim voltage down to 5V?
can i just solder simple 1k ohm 15-turn trimmer and after i reach those 7V with fan controller's pot, trim it even lower using that additional trimmer?
if so, where exactly should i solder it to ?
i would really appreciate your help guys - thanx :toast:
