Best bios for Asus P4C800 Deluxe Rev1.02?

I have some problems with 5:4 divisor
When I start to overclock with 286 or more FSB, the system becomes unstable.
Is there a modified bios / original bios better for my motherboard?

I think it happens because it's quite "old" (its revision is 1.02 :(:(:(:()

I used to do 290 FSB, but now I can only do 286 like you. Right now I'm looking for ANYTHING to help me get back to 290 or eve better 292. So, if there is modified Bios that can help; I'm interested too. :)

i want to use 3.6ghz daily :D
with on-the-fly OC i put my p4 to 3.7ghz with 1.48v
so i think it stabilizes in 3.6ghz
is there a trick or something that can help me?

I'm not sure if it applies to the P4C800, but the best P4C800-E bios is 1014 IMO. I think they use the same bios versions but maybe not.

i assume ur using that PC4000 ram in ur P4C800 ...

i have PC4000 corsair in my P4P800 and PC4000 simply hates 5:4 divider... i say it's ur ram. Since mine don't run more than 224 mhz @ 3-4-4-8 timings! with 5:4 but runs 255 mhz @ 3-3-4-6 with 1:1

i use 1015 bios ...i think its best for p4P ...dunno bout P4c
