What pump?

Ok here is the setup I will be running....3 heater cores with with 4 fans on each...plus 2 more fans in the case. It will be running in its own case for maximum performance. Its running in an antec 1030 case. I was wondering if this pump is good enough to send water through it. It will only be on a cpu block for now.

3 cores for just a CPU?

thats a TOTAL waste, and wont do anything decent but clog the flow. Run a Good core, and any 150~300GPH pump will be about golden.

if you want to expand later, you can run a loop for each heatsoruce, but then again a good core would handle most you put to its use.

First of all, you only need 1 dual heatercore for maximum cpu cooling. And secondly, get either two of the Swiftech MCP650's in a series or just one sexy Blueline HD20. I owned and Blueline and it rocks your socks.

the danner mag 3 has 10.5 feet of head pressure you could run them in series for the rpice of one MCP-600

But the danner mag's have leaks around the impeller housing, plus they add in more heat than the swiftech's and around the same as the blueline for less performance. :/ But they are cheap, I'll give them that...

The blue line HD20 aint so great... only 13 foot max head and 45W, not impressive. 2 MCP650's would give you 20 feet max head at about 32W. I would venture to say that 1 MCP650 would yeild better temps than the HD20.

overkill is good, but this ...insane :banana:

I'd advise, like the rest to use 1 heatercore ...but if you ignore, u'll need like 3 of those DD pumps.
