or what about this memory
Crucial Ballistix 5300 667MHz 512MB DDR2 (MY-022-CR)
The Ballistix™ line of high-performance memory modules features advanced speed grades, low latencies, and integrated aluminum heat spreaders. Ballistix modules are specficially built for performance enthusiasts who want to push the performance envelope without worrying about data loss or corruption, mysterious intermittent errors and display problems, or worse-the dreaded BSOD.
not many people around here that run these rigs yet. i almost built one but decided against it. keep us posted on how it runs... im sure a few people in here can give you advice on this system. i personaly am still keeping my eye on this platform to see how it performs? one thing for sure dude get some cooling cause they do run hott no doubt about that!

if its some 550J or 560J, they should do well, but 550 and 560 will be a more hot.
The J means E0 stepping....

How much is DDR2 price? I'm asking because DDR I is butt expensive now. I'm thinkging of going LGA now because if DDR2 cost the same as DDRI, I'm going for DDRII.

well i have herd and seen that inyel are droping the prices on the 23/8/04 which is today but dont know how long that will filter to the sellers, I just notied you can only get a ATI x600 pci card which is the same speed as a 9600 pro thats abit crap not many cards to get.
but ATI and Nvidia are releasing the ati x700 ehich is as good or not better than the 9800xt and nvidia are rel the 6600 pci version this month so i am going to have to wait again.
getting sick of wating for stuff to come out its onlt the cpu and graphics card holding me back
juts need the 2.6 to drop to £230 to £200 which is about $400 which i have read thats is going to drop to
dont know weather to get crsair or cruial memory ????

Get corsair, they seem to be better.
and the X800 XT PCI-Express is releasing in not that long...
try here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Intel_CPUs_15.html
they're usually cheaper than Dabs.co.uk and get newer stuff in quicker
