Searching around and looking for some info, got nothing.
I KNOW booster doesn't work with Noisetaker like (ATX 12 2.0)
Which brings me a question of.... does it work with ANY ATX 12v 2.0 PSU?
I am guessing there is some issues of mixing the 2 different rail through memory slot but want confirmation from you guys. There are few PSUs I am looking into (I normally wouldn't have to but have a feeling OCZ Powerstream is actually longer than typical PSU... and I have lian-li PC-V1000 which can't seem to accomodate oversized PSU with legnth greater than 6" or so)
Now, what is the size of Powerstream as well? :P

Just called and got answer... -5v is needed to operate... I have yet to see ATX 12v v2.0 PSU with -5v... -_-;

Actually the -5V only goes to pin 26 of the ICL 7107 (A/D convertor that senses VDIMM and encodes for use in driving the 2 7-segment LEDs). I think you could get away with not using it...you just wouldn't be able to see the VDIMM on the display. I would give it a shot.

Hi, I just wanted to officially clarify some things. The -5v line from your PSU is only for the readout on the DDR Booster. If you don't have a -5v line on your PSU the unit should still operate just fine.
The Enermax PSU's may have some other "feature" that causes interference with the Booster's operation. We are still investigating this.
For example, the OCZ Powerstream PSU is ATX 2.03 compliant. It does include the -5v line for compatabilty with older systems that may require this. All other PSU's have proven compatible, so this leads us again to believe that there is some other factor in the newer Enermax Noisetaker series causing a problem.
I hope this clears the issue up for now.
Wow... tested each and every power supply out there and only one incompatibility... that's amazing. :up:

Who said we tested each and every PSU? Not me.
I said "all others have proven compatible". To me that means no one has had any issue with another power supply that we have been made aware of. We have sold many hundreds of bosters at this time. This makes us pretty confident. ;)

How about Antec Neo Power 480? One of few PSU that will fit my case with decent 12v rail...
