My current rig is comprised of an FX-53 s939 currently @ stock speeds (200 x 12) on an Asus A8V. I decided to try the new Ballistix PC4000 to see if it would compete well with the now hard to find 3700EB.

So far I have been able to ride 6016MB/s Int and 5969MB/s Float @ an estimated 94% efficiency. Is there a way to improve upon the bandwidth which I assume will result in wider bandwidth, outside OCing the FSB?

Here are me current memory clock settings.

CAS: 2.0
TRC: 11
TRFC: auto
TRCD: 2
TWR: auto
TRWT: 2
TRAS:10
TRP: 2
TWCL: auto

AsyncLat: auto
Read Preamble Setting: auto
2T Command: disabled

BTW, Im using Beta Bios 1005.021

I hope you guys can clue me in a little. :)

Step 1, up the FSB (HTT?)
Step 2, strengthen the timings

That's about...wait...ahhhh...yep, that's it.

Use the A64 Tweaker. It allows you to tweak all those little hidden timings.

Does anyone have any experience with or know what is possible from the Ballistix?

Thanks for the A64 Tweaker, I'll play with that and see what it can do.
