View Full Version : fixed a ti4200
I knocked off a resistor and a similar one is 3.94 (as read by a DMM) can I just replace it with a 3.9k resistor?

maybe you can post a pic of the missing resistor, perhaps someone can give you the correct value....

Unfortunately I can't help, don't have a 4200, I would wait a bit and see, may get lucky, Components are typically there for a reason, if you just bridge the connection you may end up with a dead card...
can you get a bit closer in on that area with a pic?
The Alphanumeric numbering just above does it begin with C, or R?
The marking is C1407, anyone else help?

ok so its not a resistor, its a capacitor. i think it will run fine without it. have you tried?
It won't hurt the card right?
