Is 28k Possible With My System?

Hi, is 28k possible with my system? i got a A64 3000+, Giga-byte K8N Pro, Patriots 2x256 ddr 433 DC, and a gecube X800XT-PE. my last test was 24k with catalyst 4.7, XT-PE@ 567/594, Dx9.0b, cpu @ 2290 v1.55 timmings default, dont really know how to OC ram that well :(

Yes, very possibly, with my 3000+ @ 2.7 and x800 pro with 12 pipes i got 28.4k, so with an XT PE, easy.

But my A64 is at stock cooling :(

hmm, only 2.2? should still be around the 26k + range, ure scores are low..

use 4.9 beta's and dx9.0c.

I got 24K with a 98pro and an A64 3400+, so you can do much better.

I got 28k with a 3200 a64 and a x800 pro all with stock cooling.

Thx guys, r3b0rN u think 4.9b and the dx9.0c will do it? what do u guys think i can do i need tips on the OC on ram and Cpu right?

i suggest you try benching with windows 2000 sp2 and directx 8.1. Use catalyst 4.7.

Shroomalistic i have an XP Pro system that is cleaned and has tweaks, i did it in that system, i dont think with win2000 is going to give me a 4k boost so i just need to know how can i do it in that system with OC in ram and CPu etc etc. :(

I did another benchmark but didnt really do any good i put the 4.9b and i have a dx9.0c put the card @ 550/610, cpu @ 2300 timmings i put the same as Shroomalistic since mine are also ch-5 2.5,3,3,7 and i did 24.7k is something wrong here? :(

Did u try new bios? for example F9 or F11.

To test the maximum of mems, you must lower the multiplier of the cpu(8x) so that it not limit your sistem, and increase following settings:
vdimm voltage-> +0.3v
memory frequency-> 200
ltd-> 2x
timings-> 2-3-3-5 range.
In windows u must oc your system with clockgen!

Later, for test the max of cpu:
vdimm voltage-> +0.3v
vcore - 1.6v(stock cooler sucks :S ) frequency -> 166
LTD -> 2x
multiplier -> 10x
and increase fsb with clockgen

Hi again, i got a bit better but im still not convenced this is the limit, there is someting really wrong here, i formated my partition and intalled winxp again, has dx8.1 and the drivers 4.7 A643000+@2352, Timmings = 2.5-3-3-5@235, XT-PE@580/590
and i only got 25098 3D marks what is wrong here? how come people get way more then me with pratically the same system... :confused:

I did a 2k3 Score and i got 13.3k it seems pretty normal to me. I noticed also that people that have pretty much the same settings have a little more Mhz on there CPU because i only have 273 in GT1 and in 2k1 Nature i have 277 so i think its really the CPU dont know for sure, anybody have any opinions? ill leva my 2 scores. (In 2k3 im pretty sure i can get almost 14 :banana3: )
