I did some beching today and i think it can be nice with phase cooling on the X800
A65 3200+ Claw @ 10*294-1,94v memory 1:1 Ocz 3500EB 3,45v 294mhz cas3-2-2-6. OCZ Ram Booster, Chaintech VNF3 . PC X800Pro only 12 pipes@ 553/630.
CPU cooling: R404/R410A Cascade loadtemp evep= -55
X800Pro Cooling: Stock air.
More too come :):D

goes to prove x800pro mem oc is more important hehe

1:1 @ 294, man that's unbelievable. My 3700eb passes '01 at a peak of 278 (3.35v). Nice OC on that chip and nice temps on that evap. Surprised no one has posted in here to tell you what nice clocks you have. Now get that x800 cold and see what happens.
Another thing, run Sandra to see your highest bandwidth score. I was able to score as high at 298 1:1 (4600 MB/s). With your ram passing '01 at 294, you might be able get a bandwidth record or something. Let's see it.

What stepping is that cpu of yours? And is it C0 or CG?
I've got an XPMW C0 and like to know if giving it like 1.95V would get me 2800Mhz and higher stable? And is it OK to run that 24/7, Mach2 cooled btw.

Hello.
I was putting the x800 under a -50c evap last night and only godt one roun of benching befor the cpu and motherboard died...........................
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8043106
BTW: i dont know the stepping i hawe laped the HS :(
Must get another cpu and a new mb but.... i dont know if i stay on 754 or go too 939 and a 3500+........
I Hawe a 3200+ NC that wil duu about 3045Mhz but it score less than the Claw did @2941mhz....

Ya, you can't beat the Clawhammers. Man, that's terrible about your cpu & mobo. How did you lose them BOTH?? I can see losing one, but two? This is the hard part of extreme clocking.

Don't get 3500+, it will kill your performance.
Get 3400+ CH or 3700+ if you want S754, FX53 if you want S939.

Hello
I realy dont know whats happend....
I was on with a weary good 01 run when it just freese.... I did a reboot and .... just get a long beep and two chort beep from the speaker......
I put my 3200+Nc in the mobo but get the same beep eror.....
Took the 3200Claw and put it in another mobo and get no boot :(
I am so sad....
I hawe ordred a new VNF3 now and saving money for a 3700+. but that wil take time too get all that money.
All my mony is going too a r404a/r1150 cascade.... i am waiting for a lot's of parts too the cascade from Chilly1 too arive this weak :toast:

Is it possible that the cpu died because of:
1. the high vdimm
2. the high vcore
I'd like to run @2.8 Ghz but don't want to risk killing my cpu.

most likely thats what killed rthem

I was benching on 625/635 when the rig died..... Thats only with def volt on gpu/ram...
But i dident get a chance to push it more........

R.I.P to a obviously very fine mobo and cpu. Congrats on the 12 pipe score, very impressive. If you manage to hit the same 1:1 speeds with the new setup please show us some scores from sandra.

Something's wrong here. Your first post says your VC is on stock air but then you say you were running 625/635. Is that true? If it is you're lucky you didn't kill the VC because you had to be pushing some volts through that to get 625/635 clocks on air with stock cooling. Do you have a VRAM mod?
I think it's a combination of things. That's a huge OC for a 3200+, and that HTT 1:1 is amazing! You were definitely pushing it to the limits and beyond. It's not surprising in this case. Sometimes in our quest for knowledge we push things beyond the limits. When that happens something's got to give.
Sorry for your loss.:(

In my fist post i run the x800 on air with 553/630 clock. In my next post i run the card under Phase cooling andt get true 01 with 605/635 clock.
After that i tryed 625/635 but then my rig died.....
And so far no vmod on the x800 card. I now it sound impossibel about the ram clock but its true. I hope too get a new rig upp this wekend and i wil run som more bench then. If i only can get the core upp a bit i think this card is good for highe score.
Hope this help you understand my post :)
My english is realy bad..........

Did you have sinks on the RAM?
This brings up an important point. People need to be very careful with the X800 video RAM. It seems they are easy to kill. The GPU on stock volts is pretty safe, but you really have to watch the artifacts. If you're getting more than very minor arties it is necessary to back off on the RAM clocks.

I did not use sinks......
And thank you for the warning... i hawe som artifacts .... must go down too about 615 then its no problem...

If you're going to run RAM clocks in excess of 600MHz (1200MHz) for an extended length of time, or over 615MHz at all you should consider using RAM sinks, although if you are freezing the card they are not necessary at those speeds.
Just watch those artifacts.:D
