512mb corsair value does 250fsb max at ras-cas3
wont post at 200fsb ras-cas2
256mb kingston value does 225fsb cas2.5, ras-cas3 but will do 238 if I set cas to 3. 242fsb wont load windows but 238fsb completes 3dmark! havent bothered to try in between.
anyway the real problem is when I have both sticks installed, it automatically runs my ram async, what gives? I am like ok ill lower the multi and raise the fsb. I use a 9x multi so the cpu isnt a factor. 262fsb wont post! :mad: 260fsb which runs my ram at 213 accroding to cpu-z gets to windows but 3dmark reboots my computer! I try 250fsb for 204MHz ram and 3dmark completes fine! is corsair and kingston incompatable together or is having over 512mb killing my fsb? I tried T1 and T2 no difference in how high a fsb I can hit! I also set the HT to 3x This is bull though! I know some people say I need a gig to get the most out of games but if I cant run much over 200fsb or if I can even get 200fsb, I will lose massive bandwith and fps in games! I did not buy the a64 so I can underclock my ram in order to have a gig! I must be missing something! :mad:
