Hey guys, I think something is definately not normal with my 3d mark scores. Im scoring 12900 on 3dmark 2001se and 3875 on 3dmark 2003. Here is my setup, all help is appreciated:

P4 530 3.0ghz with TT Spark 7+ fan 6000rpm
Asus P4C800-e dlx mobo
1 gig kingston hyperx PC-3200 ddr
radeon 9600 XT 128
2x WD Raptor 10000RPM Raid 0 SATA
windows XP pro

WTF , ppl are scoring higher than me with half my ram and less CPU speeds. Is there something Im configuring wrong. Also should i be running turbo mode on my motherboard settings?

Amount of ram doesnt have a big impact in 3dmark. Not sure where your 9600xt should be scoring. But people beating you are beating you for a few reasons.

1, You say they are running less cpu speed then you. If they are running AMD's, their cpus are more efficient and so perform better than yours while still at lower clockspeeds.
2. Their card clocks (By far the most important factor) are higher than yours.
3. Their front side bus is faster than yours.
4. Their ram has tighter timings than yours.
5. They are using better performing (perhaps even optimized) drivers. And windows tweaks. Some even run the tests out of order because certain orders boost certain tests scores (don't ask me).

Your scores are 100% right where they should be.

Were you expecting 20K from a 96XT?

You would be close to that with a OCed 98 Pro.
