I was tired and pissed off yesterday afternoon here at my office, so i thought... why not benchmarking this piece of sh1t?

Grabbed PowerStrip and OC'd the onboard VGA from the SiS740, and no way a cpufsb or any other progrm like that would work on this ECS K7SOM+ mobo...

It's damn crappy rig... have you tried benchmarking your working rigs (preferably onboard ones)?

Post here! lol

:p: :D

Sis 630/730 onboard graphics. Might give it a run on 32megs later, not sure what the min for a 01 run is, 4,8 and 16 wouldnt run though ;)

I did :D

No rig @ work, but a school computer.

With everything onboard (crappy Dell machine)

This is the max "paint stable" cpu speed from the machine. (stock vcore, stock cooling)

Pretty nice ram (and pci bus) also ;)

I clocked the thing with clockgen for an Aopen AG4X PRO (tried 3 other versions for different mobo's, but the Aopen one actually worked ;) )

Also did a 3DMark01 run @ 2500MHz

With the onboard Intel Extreme Graphics @ stock clocks because Powerstrip didn't work together with the card

Pretty funny :)

I tested another comp, but the cpu was crappy. It only did 2700MHz paint stable.

syngrow, ur able to install all those on a skool computer?
we're not allowed, eversince the fbi raided a skool and took away the comps cus of a rumor of p2p in their labs, my teacher really tightened the security

nyways, i think i got a score of ...138 with a 500mhz celeron and 8mb onboard vid

hehe

The closest thing to computer at my work is a cash register, and I don't think you could run 3dmark on one of those!

Well, a "normal" user can't install those programs on the computer.

But a m8 of me hacked the adminpass and gave me access to the computer. So I could install 3DMark01 :)

They finnaly caught us after about 6 months in the final week of the schoolyear.

So 3DMarking is over @ school ;)

(and I have to pay 45 euro to the school for the hours wich the admin worked to fix everything, but I'm not gonna pay 'cause new hardware is more fun :D )

just tell him you would have fixed it for free if they asked and they should be glad you didn't give out the admin pass to everyone in the school.

bypassing passwords on school machines was always fun.. I found it most amusing to put files in the startup folder of the admin that read "no, that password didnt work either" lol :D

Of course he knew it was me all along, we just played back and forth.. no damage or anything ;)

ah yes, school computers.....

I used to message random ppl on the network with netsend and freak them out by telling them what they're wearing and how I wanted to eat them for dinner
