Hello,
I am looking to make an HTPC and I have a quick question about video output. I use to use the svideo/rca output from a radeon 8500 and into my television to watch divx movies. The only problem was that there would be a refresh line going through the screen because the refresh rate of the monitor / tv are different. I tried every refresh rate available and could never get the scrolling line to go away. My question now is if I use a TV Tuner card will I have this same problem? The PC will only be hooked up the television and I want to make sure I wont have this scrolling line or else it isnt worth it to me. If there is something else I can do please let me know or what piece of hardware will give me the best results. It is mostly just going to function as my DVD player to start with then will do PVR stuff later but I want my DVD's to play without a scrolling line!. Please help
