what are these drivers?






New DNA drivers have been released. These are modified/hacked ATI Catalyst drivers, use them at your own risk. The drivers have been optimized with two things in mind, better Image Quality and more/stable frames per second when compared to the Beta Catalyst drivers from ATI.

Based on the BETA CATALYST 4.8 release
Added a new DOOM III installation (Cat 4.9 pre final)
Redone the Special Hercules support
(Hercules cards will now show as normal ATI cards)
Added the DNA-drivers special Ultra FPS Installation (beta)
Updated DNA-drivers copy protection© (was also updated in 2.7.4.7)
Added New DNA-drivers themes to the installation
all icons in the CP and start-menu get the theme chosen

i havent heard anything particular about the 2848s, but yes, they are supposed to be good.

All the modded drivers I've ever tried, are great for gaming, however If I were to use one I would probably stick with Omega's.

The drivers I've seen and used are always IQ fixes, I've yet to try any that actually were better for 3DM, IQ and bug fixes yes, optimizations that translate to more 3DMarks no...

There was evidence that DNA stole Omega's drivers and added his name to them..

I dont like DNA drivers... Buggy... Less performance and no usefull stuff...

Stick with Omega... He's a GREAT guy... Think he works at ATI BETA driver development... Or sumthin??
