at work today i noticed my boss has a large freezer standing put in his "shed" (actually it is just an area with a fence around it).
however, when it is standing there i assume he is going to throw it away. and he is not the type that will throw working stuff away, so i guess it is broken in some way.
he was not at work today so i cant ask him if i can gut it, but i guess i can if it does not work..
the compressor is a danfoss SC18F and looks fine. at the back of the freezer i see a burnt mark over a venthole. i guess it must be the electronics that burnt out then?
it is right below the returnline, about 10-20 cm behind the compressor. the ventholes looks like they are meant for a fan but i see neither a fan or a condenser. there is no condenser on the back like on some fridges either. do you think it is a large fridgestyle one hidden inside or maybe a smaller fan-cooled one?? if there is a good condenser in it i would like that one too :)
