The pcp&c is definitely nice. Maybe you can find one used.
Pcp&c is a powerful PSU, so if you want to spend a lot of money take this...;)
I think that the Forton it's the better for quality/price :slobber:

Here is an old roundup which includes some of the psu's you mentioned. Maybe it'll help. http://www.anandtech.com/casecooling/showdoc.aspx?i=1841

PC power and cooling is not worth the money. Avoid them.
Get a fortron 530 or a enermax "851".
I also read @anandtech review they are a bit noisy ...
Can someone confirm ?

What about the new ocz psu's. Those who have used them say they are incredibly nice. Support for btx is nice for the future, and the external rail adjustment is quite nice.

That's the power supply I bought (520 watt version). After reading Anandtech's and FUGGER's review, I figure it's a good price for a very good PSU and plus it has the asthetics!!:toast:
Oh ! Another thing to consider is me using OCZ BOOSTER - is there anything specail I should look into a p/s considering the booster ? (high 3.3V ? , 12v ? )

I'm using Both a PCP&C Turbo Cool for the Main PSU on My A8V/OCZ Booster , and a Fortron 530 to Power my 6800 Ultra and Cooling Fans for the Chassis/NB.
Overkill?....Probably, But at least my Lines won't Dip!:D
hallowen - nice setup - I might do it myself - but without pc power ... I will look into less expansive options ...
O.k Then ...
Last question -
I Left 2 options -
TTGI 550W - But I wanna sleeve it & replace the molex & connectors - so it will get upto 180-190$ ...
and for 20$ more I can get PC POWER & COOLING 510W ...
What will u take ?
Fortron Source makes some nice ones...
I have there 530-Watt PSU and it works nice

I vote for OCZ PS 520W, awesome PSU.
I don't like the pcpc because they don't worth the money.

Just for everyones info, I've ran an IC7 with a gig of ram, 2.8c @ 3.8, 6800gt @ Ultra speeds, SBLive, 92mm Tornado, 3 7200rpm drives, 2 optical drives, 3com 905C, and a 30watt case fan (on a rheo) on a fortron 530, and temps held me back, Not PSU. Volt lines were very respectable and solid.
So if your concern is having enough juice, fortron 530 is definately the PSU to buy. Do not buy PCP&C or OCZ over it because you think they have more power. They don't. They have features/warranty/regulation advantages respectively, but not more juice. So don't waste your money expecting more power for it. The same goes for antecs over Fortrons but to a lesser extent (They cost less than PCP&C or OCZ, but have less features than OCZ and worse regulation than PCP&C, though they have more features than a fortron and I believe (according to specs) slightly better regulation.)

I don't understand where people say PC&PC isn't worth the money?
If you have the money, it will be the best $200 you've ever spent. You won't find them used unless someone is selling an entire system with one in it? Why? Because they are the best.. period.
However, the fortron's are very good for the money. Can't pass up that good of a PSU for under $100.
After using a PC&PC i could never see myself using any other PSU in a gaming/overclocking rig where power matters.
