hey guys!
i bought an athlon 64 epox mainboard and a 3000+ procesor. wel, i got a MACH II but i dont have any cpu kit for it so i desided to make my own condensation protection kit. i followed this gued: http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=gethowto&howtoID=41
well, it worked for 2 days and then condensation. the side f the mainboard got too cold and got condence. so i was wondering how do u guy do so that ur systems dont get condenced. Is there a good guide about how doing this?
plz help
thanks guys

lots of dielectric grease and run something as a service to keep the CPU loaded :) i run distributed folding set not to upload on below normal priority (that way it dosnt noticably affect your day to day use of the pc) but there are other programs, im sure there are even programs designed specifically for this purpose. oh.. and... O/C to the max :p

well, as i said i tend to use a lot of dielectric grease, infact i usually dont have any and just use vaseline, obviously i insulate the block and around the socket with neoprene, but then i just smear everythign else with vaseline or dielectric grease, im pretty sure there are beter ways though. hopefully someone else can help :)

Cover the entire board/socket/chip that will be under the evaporator and do the same to the back. But make sure to cover small chips and certain parts with grease and certain ones with gasget sealent (seal string in other words). I can't remember which ones to cover with which but I heard that mosfets get damaged if they are greased or covered in sealent. There is a guide which covers that on vrzone. IF you are REALLY extreme, you could insulate the entire board, although it is a little extreme. I just cover stuff in grease and make a strong gasget in between the mobo and evaporator.

Gasget is a seal. You know on cars you have gasgets and they leak and ya have to get em rebuilt. All it is a seal connecting 2 surfaces.
