P4 3,4E E0 ES - ic7-MAX3 bios problem!

hi guys!

i have a big problem with my new cpu - 3,4 Prescott E0 ES -

the cpu will not run stable at 200mhz fsb on my ic7 max3 - and i can not change the bios settings (it hangs up on the saving screen)

a friend says that i need a bios update for the Microcode of the cpu ...

anyone know where i can get a newer bios (beta/moded) then 1.6?

(the cpu works on a P4C800-e Del with a new beta bios)

thats ~80% stable



i have tried the tictac bios 14b4 and der 13 bios from fugger... but it dind´t work with either

you need like >21 like BIOS 24 or 26.............

only the ic7 have a bios version higher than 16

the latest bios for the max3 is 16

doesn't anybody know where i can get a new bios that fixes this problem

Could you tell me what beta bios you used on the P4C800E Dlx?

I need It for My 3.4E EO ES!:D

I Don't know of any other Bios's for the IC7-Max3 other than whats on ABIT's Website.

It's Been Shipped, But It'll be a few days before I get It.:D

Gonna' Have to build Another Phase Change/Cascade for It,'cause It'll be too much trouble Switching Back and Forth between the FX-53 and this ES when I get It!:p:

the bios i used on the p4c800-e del: "1017ed04" - beta bios

i have tried the 1017final -> now i can't change the multiplier, it is now fixed to 14x :(:
i have flashed back to 1017 beta - same problem ...

now i have 2 boards with different multipliers :p:
IC7-Max3 -> Multiplier fixed to 17
P4C800-e Del -> Multiplier fixed to 14

I have used the 1016 Bios on my P4C800D and It has identified the EO and has worked Great!:D

All Multipliers (14x - 17x) are working,

it's not my favorite board, and the bios sucks... all vcore over ~1,55 -> blackscreen after reboot ...
and the vcore varies about ~0,1V
