Control + ALT + Tilde brings up console...

here is a list I found somewhere, dunno if its what you want, if not be more specific please....

aviDemo = Saves a demo of your playing to an AVI movie file
benchmark = Game Benchmark
doomhell = Skip all levels to last
freeze = Freeze all on screen
gfxinfo = Graphicscard infomation
god = God mode
noclip = No Clip
notarget = Invisibility to most enemies
com_drawfps 1 = Show FPS
give all = Full load of weapons and ammo
give doom95 = Load the '95 version of Doom
give keys = Acquire all the keys you'll ever need

No idea, those were the console commands found by whoever compiled the list (not me) some don't work for me, just have to mess around and see what they do, if anything noteable..

LOL, those cheats exist in every single doom, if you don't want to do it you just have to practice self control :D

all the cheat commands work, but things like the fps counter dont. I think there is something you have to do to the DOOM3.exe to use them, but I dont know what it is.

yeah thats quite possible, perhaps a switch to throw it in Dev mode, I'll hunt around and see if I can come up with anymore info, if i do i'll post it here....

go to the doom3 folder->base->open the cfg file and change drawfps "0" to drawfps "1" :)

gotta try that doom95 thing

EDIT: "give doom95" doesnt work :(

I'm working on an autoexec file for doom3 like I did for wolf...
It's gonna improve performance without hurting quality... i'll post it here. BTW the engine is pretty simple, most of the commands and variables are pretty much the same like Q3 engine.

when i put in 'idkfa' or 'iddqd' i got a message that said, 'your memory serves you well!' :D

g_showplayershadow "1" to enable character shadows (purdy)

com_showfps 1 for fps counter
