That cache finally is making some use of itself. It seems Doom3 is depended on memory latency the most.

It still looks like it got its butt whooped by AMD stuff. Doesn't look like a Small victory at all. Am I missing a point or something?

Is it that it does better then a northwood?

Yes, finaly the prescott pulls ahead at the same clocks, hopefully all upcoming games will reflect the same results.

Im glad i got a presscott too, i need all the help i can get to run Doom 3 when it comes out, i cant afford to buy a new gfx atm :D

Hopefully, we will see more games in the near future making use of the bigger cache in prescott.

Unfortunately, the stock 3000+ (512K) A64 is within 1fps of both the 3.2EE and 3.4EE ...

And the 3.0E is 3fps slower than the 2800+ (512K) A64...
