Pentium II system randomly freezes

My old Pentium II system keeps randomly freezing up the keyboard and mouse for no reason. The screen is stilk updating but no input. I have run MemTestx86 + with no errors and reinstalled windows 98 multiple times. Any ideas?

De-clock it.....lol

Try a USB keyboard and mouse, could be the Ps/2 ports are on the way out.

Also download knoppix and run that for a while, if it hangs then at least you know its more likely hardware.

It does it even when it isnt overclocked. I will also try usb mouse and keyboard too.
