Picked up another 3.2EE at the weekend......rtl boxed from late last year......running plain water cooling, the cpu is 2 x prime95/3d stable at 241fsb at 1.725vcore setting, which undervolts to 1.66 under load on my IC7. Hot weather here as well, with the temps. up to 56c at 100% load.
PWM temps hit a blistering 78C !!!
Time for heatsinks and fan!!
(Swiftech MCW6000/Thermochill HE120.1 rad and two M1A Panaflos) - Vapo XE on the way :)

These are my 24 x 7 stable settings. Will do some benching tonite, when i take out the 6800GT and put the X800 Vivo-flashed to XT- back in!

Very nice. Great chip you have there. You are right though, your PWM is getting way too high.

That vapo will have its hands full with a EE.

Nice results though.

Thanks Guys....not too sure if i'll get much more out of it with the Vapo, but the volts are still 'relatively' low, and of course it will be cooler than the 56c it reaches at the moment when at 100% load.

Freecableguy.....what mods does your Max3 have, allowing you the 330 fsb??
May give them a go with my 2.4 M0 ;)

Now at 3904mhz with this 3.2EE on straight watercooling and 1.68v under load......temp have dropped as well.....ambient and i guess the thermal interface settling down.

Mod needed for 330FSB was just a simple bump in the NB voltage to about 1.68V. I have since done a lot more and can reach about 360FSB for some fun. Too bad I don't have the 9, 10 or 11 multi...hehe.

Goo luck with the Vapo, you should be able to get 4 ghz outta her.

OT: Freecable, have you got a new chip or what?

3.8 is ok, but not really amazing. I could get 3.8 out of a 3.4ee with the stock cooler and 1gb of ram. I dont know what difference 512 would make either. Still, nice chip and hope you get good results with the vapo :)

I'm happy with my 3.73 GHz out of my chip on a 3.06 GHz retail HSF. For now...;)

Decided not to bother with Vapo....will keep this at 3.9ghz until i change to either FX-55 or the Prescott based EE with 1066 FSB/925XE...:)

1.7v is a bit high vcore for 3.9GhZ.

What about your Vcore?

Iridium, you are always criticising my overclocks. My vcore is that high because any lower and it's unstable. Simple as that.

Yes, yes I did. :D

Are you sure that GNDS won't set in with that vcore?.....

And that's an expensive chip@@.

I had 3 3.4C's have GNDS set in, at voltages between 1.625v (!!) and 1.675v-1.7v.
