Default should be around 2v. Connect a 20K ohms VR to pin 5 of the chip marked above and when set at 20K ohms, should give u around 0.08v above default.

From what i've heard, haven't tried it myself, the vmem mod doesn't help at all unless you do the vddq mod allong with it. I haven't been able to find a guide for it, or a referance range for VR settings or safe voltages.

Yep your correct stasius... vmem for what it seems to me should only work if we do the vddq mod but is a lack of info about it :(

I just PM'ed Viperjohn @ ocforums and he sent me an e-mail with some info. He uses a 50k pot in a 3 wire configureation for both the vdd and vddq mod. For the vddq mod he presets the pot between 34k and 35k ohms between pins 2 and 3....the ones actually on the chip in this pic (http://www.ocforums.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=31428&stc=1) ;) . He recommends setting vdd to 2.1 volts and vddq to 2.15 but strongly recommends VERY GOOD RAMSINKS. I guess they run really hot even just slightly over stock voltages. The vddq metering point pic he sent me is small, but it you are looking at the card from the gpu side, with the monitor socket to your left, it's in the bottom right hand corner somewhere on any of three vertically positioned caps.
