Got a P4 550 pressy yesterday to replace my old 3.2E which ran at 4.7GHz under R404 modded Mach2.

Processor (http://www.akiba-pc.com/3.4E/Prossu.jpg)

I knew straight from beginning that this chip will go high, because of two things: It D0 stepping, and its from Malaysia.

With stock cooling, and 1.41V (1.36V real) it ran SuperPI 8M calculation through at
3910MHz (http://www.akiba-pc.com/3.4E/SPI-553.jpg). When it comes to SuperPI 1M calculation, it ran it through at 4016MHz (http://www.akiba-pc.com/3.4E/SPI-31.jpg) :D

Lets see what happens when its cooled with dry ice or cascade ;)
Maybe next weekend... :D

nice, try running 1:1 at those timings.

Ofcource its running with 1:1 divider at those speeds :stick:
Those sticks are capable 265MHz 1:1 2-2-2-5 / 3.42V, so thats not a problem. Before CPU-Z thought that memory was running with 5:4 divider, if 667PSB strap was selected from bios. With the newest bios CPU-Z thinks that 5:4 divider is used, even with 800PSB stap :(

Sweet CPU :p: 4GHz on air is very good IMO

31 is right on par with my EE at 4Ghz...seems these new Prescotts scale really well...is there something different?
