Hello,

I hawe built a GPU cascade that i running with r404a/r410A and it works good....

but now i am going too make one for my cpu.

I hawe a Thecumsec cae 2424 unit that is going on the High stage and i Danfos NL11F for the low stage.... I wil be running r404a/r23 or r404a/r1150 on it.

I wil use Chilly1 evap with steel hose and TXV, and a 15 ft pipe in pipe HX like that PC-Ice made in his 3 tsage cascade tread.

Oilsep is a henry 5182 if i dont make my own like the oilsep Pc-Ice made.

So some question.......

*Is the NL11F good for low stage or must i get a bigger one?
* Is it right that the High side must haw the biggest kompressor?
*Is Tecumsech 2420 or 2417 a better choise than the NL11F on low side?

I going for atleast -85 so the part i use must be good to this....

I hope some of you experts can help me with this !

BTW: this is the cascade i made for cpu but that i now will use on my GPU.

um for the 1st stage i would recomend atleast a 1/3 hp compressor'

and for 2nd stage the NL11F will work..it's just not that strong.

Thanks!

The tecumsec 2424 compressor is about 15cm3 i think... the spec says about 350-400w heat remowal with -40c so i hope it's ok for 1.stage.

But i must try too get a better one for the 2. stage.... i think... I want this bayby too be real cold....

Any other thing i must think of?

I thought that the NL11F is a 1/3 hp compressor :)

But isn't it more the capacity wich counts? A 15cc compressor wil pump more refrigerant than a 10cc, so more capacity.
