OMG, Mach2 head came loose!

My modified P4 kit for my Mach2 moved away for some reason, when i came back to my computer there was a blue screen, so i opened the case to find that the CPU was an icecube. I dried it out and left it for a while, change the way the head attaches to the board and tried again, and first time it all booted up, even though the chip and board were covered in ice only hours before. Is this likely to affect the life of my new FX53?

Nah, as long as it works now you should be fine. And if it affected it's life it would be from like 10 years to 8 years.
