Hello, I was wondering what the lowest temps these things http://store.yahoo.com/svcompucycle/xp-tm2000.html can read are. Can you use this kind of thing for montioring the temps on phase change systems?

All of the monitors of this type that I have worked with are good for -55c max (at best).

On a single stage unit these monitors are borderline. They will work fine in most cases under load.

I use the radio shack one myself. They are good to about -55c. I have found nothing for $30 that will do any better.
I think if you want to read -70, your gonna have to shell out at least $100. I'm not sure on the exact price.
