A good friend will go to Malaysia.
So i will have the opportunity to get a good stepping.
I am interested p4 3.2.
Does anyone knows what it the stepping for this cpu?

the closest thing you might find would be the sl7kc which is a d0 stepping socket 478 prescott at 3.2. it is listed as using .956-1.052v so it should oc like hell.

I'd like to see a retail version of this stepping (non ES)...there are some rumors that the speed regulation (for lower power consumption) may have some unlocked multipliers.

But, knowing Intel, they probably found a way to ensure we don't have access to them (a la Speedstep).

If they didnt lock it as secure as before, mobo manufacturer or tweakers will find a way to unlock them fast....
