How many tons is the cpev, and are they easy to get? Also is that a 1/2hp compressor?

awsome system, expecially the evap, also, are there radiochacks in poland?, they have these small pretty quiet 4 inch fans(they look like big case fans), i dunno, just a suggestion for ur condenser

Nice evap, I bet it works great with the compact size.

Did you take any pics of the inside?

Pins are 5mm tall, the base is 5mm thick, the upper milled chamber is 5mm deep. This is my original cascade evaporator (made for high pressures). It looks simple, primitive but after some really intense R&D i can say its a winner..

It had a few mutations:

Injector revision (cascade)

http://paranoya.org/~berkut/MK8/spaw.jpg

http://members.lycos.co.uk/berkut0/MK8/throttle2mk8.jpg

DIY hand controlled expansion valve (on the cascade)

And now there the CPEV edition...

The evaporator is 4x5x2cm... very compact yet powerfull...

Right now im in the middle of R&D of a new evaporator type....

on the new cooler pics you can also see parts of my new project: a cryo chamber

cpev...must be hell to insulate

Thats why I have now moved them to the condenser its a lot easier to insulate a small line seperatr then the cpev.

Is that a ziptie I see holding the suction line on? Isint that a little dangerous?

Im still insulating it, gotta make a mounting system. its insulated (the evaporator)...

I dont see any problems with insulating this cpev, wait a few hours and you'll see

I use the same cpev model, it cost about 20USD here in poland.
