hey guys,

has anyone any great luck with these sticks? I know they are @ stock: 275 but anyone able to get them to 300+ fsb? I have a 2.4C that does 302 FSB and would love to get some 1:1 action :) Also, what chips are on these babies?

youd be much better off with bh5 and running em at 5:4 with 2-2-2-5, seriously

BH5 does give more memory bandwidth, but 1:1 seems to be run just as fast(maybe faster) even with crappy timings.

Trust me, it really isn't

Isn't what?

If you can run 1:1 with BH5s, that's unstoppable. But divider will always have latency comparing to 1:1.

if he's running 302 FSB ...with 5:4 divider mean BH-5 is at 251 FSB @ 2-2-2-5 timings ...this will murder 1:1 @ 302 FSB with 3-4-4-8

but back to the question: i doubt that the corsair will run 300 FSB. I think it may do around 280. (even with volt mod.)

my PC4000 corsair runs 255 FSB (only 5 mhz over spec) ...raising vdimm all the way upto 3.2v makes no difference.

if u want 300 1:1 ...look at OCZ's 3700 EB's

302 x .8= 241.6

yea the bh5 at that speed will be best

But it's kinda hard to tell which one is faster unless you bench it. And I think I've only seen the AData running at 300Mhz.

Its been benched before. 1:1 with 3-4-4-8 doesn't beat the 5:4 2-2-2-5 equivilant.

I've done extensive testing before, and even though running 5:4 does increase latency, it provides about the same amount of bandwidth, if not more (depends on the timings). Dividers does increase latency, but that could be offset by forcing PAT (assuming your northbridge chip can handle it).

well my BH5 sticks cant even be stable at 302 because of too much bandwidth at 302. I need to do a volt mod, but I just got a great deal on the Corsair 4400's for only 280 shipped. I am selling my BH5s for 250, so i cant complain.
