I am going to play around a bit with a friends AN7.

he has the 15De8bPL bios. 2x256 HyperX pc3000 BH-5. double sided, single bank.
A 2500 Mobile
board is at stock, and is not to be modded now.

is it the best bios for the setup?
any settings that is to be changed?
are the lower multipliers unstable like on NF7?
cooling is really bad, so we are stuck at about 2400 mhz max.

AFAIK, that's the best BIOS. I've run 2x512s @229FSB, so I don't think you need the L12 mod. If someone knows better, please say so, and I might try it. :)

i dont really think that's a proof. well not the opposite either i guess.. but my Soltek SL-75FRN2 runs 229 without L12 too..
if the cpu goes out L12 goes in, anyway.
now we just need to know sumthing bout multi's :stick:

wasn't it 200 for the mobiles?? anyways i think we need cooling. it runs memtest fine at 240, but after about 10 mins it fails at all speeds.
so a fan over the mem ant maybe running it naked would help i guess..
