OCZ PC4400 EL Gold - User experiences?

Just bought a 1GB kit to replace the EB that I bought for my 3.0c :p:

Anybody have any experience or info on this RAM?

2.5-4-4-8 at DDR550 2.8v is quite nice.

Nice memory to be sure...it really tempted me. However, my board can't currently get to anything even close to the 275MHz my current memory is rated for and I doubt the chipset would take a 2.5 timing at that speed in any event. Lousy stock cooler...:rolleyes:

That memory will likely max out your board with the right CPU...it will also run @ 300 MHz FSB with the common 3-4-4-8 timings.

Maybe I should get ambitious with my Northbridge cooling and give it a shot as well...300 FSB is tempting me...;)
