3DMark2k1SE score for gf2

Hey all,

Hows a score of 3,940 would you say for the system in my signature? That's with no tweaking, only aggressive memory timings (2T, 5T). I looked up other ~ 1ghz processors with the Geforce2 GTS/Ti family, and the "Man to Beat" had about 4,500 but his FSB was 144, etc. etc.

I've found that using the 30.82 drivers work better than 40.71 or even 40.72 (which are unstable on my machine) any reason why - besides the fact that they're betas?

In my experience the 40.52's have been much faster in 3DMark than the 30.82's...but I'm not sure if that holds true for the GF2 cards as well....and you are correct, they are indeed less-stable.

Thank you all for the welcomes. I don't see 3DMark as an accurate benchmark of 3D preformance on computers, as I have some reserved negative judgements about how MadOnion does business. However, its a good place to get a baseline since many individuals use it, and ORB isn't half bad for comparisons :rolleyes:

This would probably belong in the graphics vmod section, but has anyone sucessfully pulled off a GF2 to Quadro mod? (i.e. moving the two resistors)
