NEED HELP FAST! How can i hook up PC to HighDefinition TV?

OK, I REALLY need help fast on setting up something. I need to hook up a computer with a Radeon 9600XT video card to a Sony KV-32HS510 High definition telivision as its primary monitor. Here is the monitors maual http://www.docs.sony.com/release/KV32HS510.pdf
Hooking it up directly with a DVI cable does not work. The picture doesnt fit on the screen and its just all messed up.
If someone could explain to me what i need to do and what i need to buy to get it hooked up with the best possible quality picture then it would be GREATLY appreciated. I need to get this done ASAP.

Google TVtool, give that a try, you'll need to get the proper resolution set, and scan rate. I had no problems with mine just setting it in the ATI drivers. TVtool may help you get correct settings though...

Ok, well i found this guide of how i should be able to use Powerstrip to make my computer work with the tv straight through with DVI... let me know what you think.. i am going to try it tonight
