Not a big deal, but 10k in 3DMark2001SE with a DX7 card! :)

Hopefully when MO fixes the ORB so I can publish the score.

Edit: Oh ya, the card is clocked at 415/715.... The core can go higher I'm sure but Riva Tuner is maxed out.

Hey majormav! :) Thanks for the welcome.

Actually once you mentioned that there is a way to change the limit in Riva Tuner I think I found it.

It's under Rivatuner \ Overclocking \ Current Device. There you can change the hex value's to enable higher overclocks! :D

I guess I'll try benchmarking the card a bit more when MO fixes the orb.

Thanks again!

Wait, so you're Coca Cola?!!

I was wondering what happened to you!

And congrats!

Hey hamzam! Yes, this is Coca_Cola from the MO forums. :)

Actually Coca_Cola is my 2nd account, originally I was Colin there too but was banned earlier this year (still don't know why).

What's your nic at MO?

Hey Colin. Welcome to Xtreme. Don't worry about the ban at MO, those forums were turning sour. I was tired of asking questions over there and getting answers like "get a better cpu, a$$hole".

Anyway, seriously nice score with that MX440. Now I'm not so proud of my Ti200 score, although my cpu is running 1500MHz less!!! LOL

Colin,

Welcome to Xtreme :)

Very nice score there!

Hey SPQQKY! Long time no see! :)

Ya, I only returned to MO to talk to a few friends that are still there. It seems like that forum is now overrun with kid's who just want to flame. It's pretty sad.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Jesus thats one hell of an overclock. AGP 8x be damned, I want that GPU and memory....

You running vmods or any mad cooling? My MX440 can manage 371/502 on air with no vmods. With a vmod I may be in your ballpark area, but if thats an unmodded card - good god.

Remember guys the default clock for an MX440 is 260/400. Youre looking at an almost 100% core and memory overclock. Incredible stuff.

Youve taken me down with a cpu deficit of only just under 500mhz and at least 30mhz memory speed less as well.

Hey PiLsY! :)

Actually that oc is what I can get with the MSI MX440-8X stock! Didn't have time to mod it yet on the wknd.

The card uses 3.6ns BGA Hynix DRAM and as you can see it overclocks like MAD! :D

I do have a lot of airflow in my test system, had 2 120mm 103 CFM fans pointing both on the back and front of the card, it seemed to help a bit.

To be honest I was completely blown away at how well this baby oc'ed! If you get your hands on this thing, I wouldn't be surprised if you could break 11k or 12k! ;)

All I can say then is wow what a card!

And dont sell yourself short colin - thats a very fine 3dmark score despite the huge graphics clock. It takes a lot of tweaking and a lot of graphics clock to get that sort of increase over a system with as much of a cpu and memory advantage as I have. Good job there m8 :). Im very impressed.

Give the 640 x 460 x 16 test a go m8. Id be interested to see how well you did in that. Even at that res im still graphics limited to a massive extent, so I reckon youd most likely beat me quite soundly at that as well :).

And dont forget your XtremeSystems.org 3D Mark Team tag ;).

Thanks for the kind words PiLsY! :D

I'll run 640x480x16 and post it in a bit.

Ok PiLsY... Just benched the MX440-8X at 640x480-16bit and here it is.

I got a new score at default bench and compared it against that. Well you'll see what I mean. ;)

The card is clocked at 415/715 for all the tests, I'm not really sure why my fill rates at 640x480 are lower then 1024x768... Weird.

Oh ya, as you can see, my rig is just a tad faster... I'm now running 158 MHz FSB. Woohoo! :p
