I will be willing to test it on a 0407 duron 1.8ghz applebred later today. I will also post some results and pics of CPU-Z if it works.

thank you, is your multi unlocked?
what don't you unterstand? There are the pictures shown how toi close/open the bridges.
Easily close the last l2 bridge und you'll habe a AthlonXp
a duron has got 64kb l2 cache not 128, so you can get 192 more!

i know that but i wonder if i ust works at durons example manucatured befor v40 or something like that
It works for all durons on T-Bred A/B Core!
But there is a chance of about 3% that your procesoor wont work after this mod.
Also if you removes it...
But have a try on it.

I already modded a Duron1400 to a XP2400+ @ 2Ghz. It's very simple. If you have a new package, where you can see the wires (or conductor; I don't know the vocabulary so good ;) ), then you must scratch the syntethic off till you see the copper. Then you can connect them. Best results you get with a MIXIB stepping.

My experince with Thortons and Applebreads is that they refuse to unlock the extra cahce when their multy is locked. after wk 34/03
