Hi to all!!!!

I'm new in this forum, I write from italy and so, my english needs some improvement ;)

I write to ask you all a bit questions:

1° I've just buy this cpu and MoBo and, obviously i've got some problems :(. I can't go over 230mhz fsb if I don't set ldt at 2.5x, is it normal?

2° i've just changed the original tape between Nb cooler and i've put some conductive paste. i can reach 255 mhz fsb stable but if I set 260 i see data corruption on screen, i can't read nothing and pc freezes. why?

3° i'm not able to change timings of ram from the SPD, if I set 5-3-3-2 (at 200mhz, with abit nf7 i hadn't got any problems at 2.7V) also vith 2.88V the mobo won't boot and reebot with spd settings ---> 8-4-4-3. there is a way to change them?

4° how thees cpu behave with "cold" cooler ---> liquid + 226W peltier) my procio is rock solid whit boxed fan cooler at 2200mhz, is very stable to 2300mhz 1.65Vcore and is only quite stable at 2400 at 1.7 vcore.

5° is it necessary to volt mod my mobo? (i'm using vitesta, not bh-5 based ram) i'll have some improvement or not?

6° changing vqq or ht voltage you've got any improvement or not? i didn't noticed real differences

thanks YOU all

set fsb to 201 in bios then use clockgen to get higher. that way the pci should be locked.
