I did a little ocing on my 24/7 gaming/HTPC. I downloaded sandra and it looks like I am one of the highest athlon xps out there....Is there any 3 gig athlons out there who can beat me? I am sure there is as I am only 233x11.5. Anybody can post...I want to see the Intel side of things, too;)

My system = stock 3700+. If I could run my RAM at 240mhz I would, but that's not possible right now.

actually the sandra 2k4 arithmetic will show A64 and A32 the same because the calculations it does was designed with 32bit CPUs in mind ... if it was 64bit CPUs, then the 32bit CPUs would "choke" on the numbers ...

and the reason an Intel CPU would be better at the whetstone FPU, because it has more floating point pipeline, AFAIK ... ( remember the first P4 willy having 2 integer pipes and 4 floting point pipes and the tbird at the time having 3 of both) correct me if I'm wrong ...

You know i dont think sandra does real calculations, it somehow guesses your results.
I usually underclock my PC when leaving it over night, and on the morning i decided to install and bench sandra.

Its crazy, i havent run sandra before on this machine (fresh winxp install), so i dont how it could know my overlock is to 3.6 Ghz normally?

Every other tool stated the cpu was running @1500 and 1.1V, which was confirmed by the Temps, and the running of pifast and starting a game after i looked "WTF" at sandra.

Well here you can see the fastest 1500Mhz around!

Well im a straight talking person if others wish to hide behind nicks then it fairly safe to say that they have no real crediabilty as peeps.

Oh and why have u answered to this question (curious), its clearly directed at Overclock Kid because it just happens that there are only a few peeps running fx53 at those clocks and the pic happens to have the name 'Jason' in it (Performance Test Status/Run ID in Sandra window on the left). So i think it may be MM, wonder if I get a straight answer

If it's based on what clock it thinks your running, its a pretty useless, synthetic benchmark...
