hey im still wanting to see if the 10% lock issue is real or bypassable yet.
i knew ddr2 would be fine down the road and bypass ddr in time but not this fast.
sure the timings blow watermelon sized chunks but who can argue with the results?
at christmas time id say this new 775 setup will be badass if all goes well.

Thats some crazy bandwidth!
I wonder how the DDR2 would do on an uber Skt 939 rig... :D

Somehow that result doesn't seem to be in line with any mem bench I've ever seen :P
according to the reviews we have seen so far DDR2 at 200/266 hits a bit over 5000/5000MB/s sandra buffered. 270/360 should NOT be anywhere even close to 8900/10900..that looks just plain silly
edit: here (http://www.legitreviews.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=486&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0) is another system running DDR2 at 722MHz and that one didn't get any higher than 6650MB/s at those speeds..

its from ocz's shops so mabey they can comment on it.

its running at 270FSB with 3:4 divider (=360MHz RAM aka DDR720)
default 775 socket CPU w/ DDR2 is running at 200FSB with 3:4 divider (266MHz aka DDR533)
The default 775 CPU w/ DDR2 @533 gets a sandra buffered of 5100MB/s (according to reviews)
the OCed 775 w/ 270FSB DDR720 should get a score of around 6900MB/s (5100MB/s x (270/200) = 6885MB/s)
The link I posted has a 775 rig running at 270FSB/DDR722 and it got around 6900MB/s
yes it seemed odd to me until i did the math.
could you let me know how did you do the math in order to make it not look odd? :)

could you let me know how did you do the math in order to make it not look odd? yeh i guessed :)
i was talking about how the 720 speed was reached not how odd the scores looked.
now that you mention those other score were run 720 also it does seem real odd.

Hehe that just goes to show us how bad DDR2 is. It's sending Sandra corrupt readings! :D

I agree macci.. those screenies are fishy
270FSB quadpumped MAX teroretical bandwith;
(270*8)*4 = 8640MB/s .. and thats with 100% bandwidth efficency, which is far from realistic with Intel.
IFAIK there is NO way in hell the bandwidth can exceed the the max of the Front side bus.

Those are bugged charts. I think Andy or bigtoe mentioned it.
