Nice chip! and nice overclock on air too.
These cg clawhammers seem to clock nice and hold temps very well on air.

Some bh-5 @ 5-2-2-2 cmd1 1:1 would add about 400mb/s to your bandwith at that cpu speed with 10 multi.
Here is bh5 compare for you:
http://pic8.picturetrail.com/VOL256/1324330/2517856/57610403.jpg

You have a good overclock for 3400+ on air! Too bad you cant get your bh-5 to run....whats the problem? Need more vdimm?
Are you trying bh-5 with one stick or two? 256 or 512?. I am very interested in that epox board and you got me wondering if it has issues w/bh-5.

Very nice clocks, I have a 3400+ CG coming tommorrow so I hope I can get the sort of results you're getting, despite my MSI Neo Plat being a finicky bugger, lol. I'm looking forward to having an 11x multi to play with. :)

Your bandwidth seems quite high too considering you're running Adata at relatively slack timings, I get about 3500/3500 running OCZ EB at 3-2-2-11 timings, 1T command rate.

Another question, seeing as the 3400+ CG runs the memory controller at a native 2T, do you have an option in your BIOS to enable 1T, and if so does the CPU handle 1GB RAM running at 1T better than the CO steppings?

And also, is that OC PRIME95 stable? And just to add another annoying question to the list, what's the max FSB you've been able to get with that 3400+ and the Adata, I presume it's the PC4000 Vitesta?

Sorry for all the Q's, I always get excietd the day before a new CPU arrives, and we have a fairly similar rig. :)

I try 256mb on 8kda3+ one and two stick the same! maybe need vdimm mod !

very nice! especially the temps! what cooler is that? do you have a pic of it or a link to it?

29°C case and 32°C cpu, thats really nice! even for idle

and a small question :D

what is this? ^^

that epox app is terrible. the temps and voltages are so off. if you check the voltages with a meter you will see what i mean. the voltage readouts in the bios are completely off also. most of the time they read higher in bios and when you log on to windows they drop.

this board needs some sort of a droop type mod. when load is applied the vcore will jump anywhere from .05 to .1, making the board more stable under load than at idle. it has something to do witht the new nf3 250 chipset and cool and quiet.

Qk do you have vcore droop, thats the one bad thing that I have heard about this board.

Damn, 2,65 Gig on air! :slobber:
My 3400+ CO core does 2.53Gig SuperPi stable on air.
Are those CG cores really that much better?

What about this 2T command?
Is there any possibility to disable this? (Codered's A64 tweaker prog?)

Btw, nice OC, both qk4722 and k|ingp|n. :toast:
