 Hey guys, I finally got my A64 system up and running last night.

Below are the components that I'm running:

AMD 3100+ 1.8ghz, 1mb (identified as 2900+ by the motherboard)

Epox 8KDA3+ (bios 06/15/2004)

Corsair XMS/OCZ PC2700 at cas 2.0 1t 3,7,3

Thermalright SLK948U

I did a quick o/c last night and was able to hit 2258mhz (respectable 458mhz overclock) but not 100% stable.

I'm just wondering if anyone has some tips to squeeze the top o/c out of my stuff. The memory has run up to 215mhz with looser timings.

The Epox motherboard has:

1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x HT
bus (fsb) overclocking up to 350mhz
no multiplier adjustment
AGP/PCI lock
lots of voltage settings

Are there any windows-based applications to adjust the multipliers (lower than stock) and system voltages? I figured someone would write and app for tweaking A64’s using AMD’s cool’n’quiet technology.

Links or tips appreciated.

you have to buy another chip , because your CPU is an engineering sample , i had the same this winter , actual steppings are more OC'able than yours.
