9700pro + MSI K8N NEO plat. = no go ??

Yesterday my K8N Neo arrived , plugging everything in powered on and .... nothing :(
For one sec there is power , 4 red dots on diagnosebracket , then power is cutt off
Switching with hardware was begon ...

The board boots up fine with a geforce2 and ati 7000
Now i know its the combo hercules 9700pro and the motherboard

The 9700pro works fine in my asus K8V ( and also in another rig )

Is this board for RMA ?
Are there known problems with that combo 9700 + k8n ?

Powersuply is Enermax 431 watt
Ram = XMS 3500 corsair
No hd's and cd connected

Just came back from the store , they hade another board in stock so i tried that but its the same.
In the store sometimes ( 4/10 ) i can boot and that with a crappy 300 watt supply , it seems that after a clear cmos i can boot
I upped agp voltage , but that helps nothing ...

I flasht the beta bios on it , still the same

The revision of the card is 00 ( first ones ) , on the asus website they warned about stabilty with these cards ( but on my K8V its doing fine )
On the MSI website i find nothing

Strange thing is when i not connect the powerconnector the system boots but then i get a warning that i must connect it
If i connect it when pc is still on and do a reset then system boots normal and i can install windows , i may then do 10 resets no problem but when i turn power off = no go
