Question regarding using multiple trimpots...

Hi guys, today I went out to grab a 20K and 100K trimpot, but to my dismay, they had no 100K, so I grabbed 2 50K. Now, I know you just solder them into series, but when you are adjusting, do you only adjust from one or both? If it is only the one trimpot, which one do you adjust from, the one closest to the IC or the one furthest away?

I'll post the answer so that others who have the same issue can refer to this thread. It really doesn't matter which one you turn first they all go up, but with 2 the resistance adjustment is alot finer then if it were just one. If you really wanted to adjust it like a true 100k you would turn both pots at the same time.
